“THE PATH TO FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE” Seven seasoned professionals will address various sub-themes at the workshop.
Below is the brief profiles of the experts that will be speaking in the seminar.
1. Alhaji Garba Kurfi is Managing Director, APT Securities & Funds Limited. He is a former Council Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), and a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS).
2. Mr Olufemi Awoyemi, Founder & CEO of Proshare Nigeria Limited. Olufemi is a Fellow of the following institutes: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers, Institute of Credit Administration, and Institute of Information Management. He is an Associate member of the Institute(s) of Chartered Taxation of Nigeria, Institute of Management Consultants, Nigerian Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors. He has been a consultant on strategic management practices and developments for several companies, think-tanks, high net worth individuals and private intelligence companies; with a specialty on issues articulation, analyst and financial strategy, reputation management, identifying future trends/impact and undertaking high impact thought led engagements.
3. Mr. Abdul-Rasheed Oshoma Momoh, Head, Capital Market in TRW Stockbrokers Limited. He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, after which he obtained a Diploma in Banking & Finance in 1997 from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, ACS, and a Certified Technical Analyst. A guru in short-term trading techniques, he has attended numerous workshops both at home and abroad.
4. Mr Gbenga Olukoya, astute stock trader/broker at Regency Assets Management Limited. He is a graduate of Accountancy, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Associate member of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS). His professional sojourn has traversed through Europe and the US, besides attending numerous workshops at home and abroad. He is a guru in fundamental analysis and equity trading.
5. Mr Ambrose Omordion, Chief Research Officer, InvestData Consulting Limited. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers, UK, Associate Member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, Certified Financial Manager. He is a South African and UK trained stock market analyst and technician.
6. Mr Jeariogbe Tunde Segun, is the Director of Research, Tradelines Dotbiz Investment Limited, graduated from Yaba College of Technology with Higher National Diploma (HND) in Statistics. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics from the University of Ibadan 2011. He is a Certified Research and Technical Analyst with over 16 years experience in the capital market where he worked with several brokerage firms that are members of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
7. Mr Taiwo Megbope He is a Professional Trader and Market Analyst at Fintraduction. He is an affiliate member of the Market Technicians Association (MTA) and an active member of the Nigerian chapter of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA). He is well versed Technical Analyst of the Financial Markets. He has written several articles on the global and local financial markets from a technical perspective. His interests include the identification of stocks that have the potential for reasonable risk to reward trading opportunities.
